DETC riders range in ages from 5 thru
55+. They learn basic horsemanship from the first lesson
on how to clean and tack their horse, and eventually
move on through the gaits of English and western riding.
Most English riders learn to jump, and the Western
riders can either engage in Gymkhanas or Cow work.
